Whether you are traveling as a family, heading to the airport with several suitcases or organizing transport for colleagues, choose a vehicle that fits both the people and their luggage. First Class Partner offers chauffeur-driven Mercedes vans for transfers, sightseeing tours and hourly hire in Paris and Île-de-France, as well as for long-distance journeys.
Our Mercedes V-Class carries up to seven passengers plus the chauffeur. For eight passengers traveling together, request a Mercedes Vito. Luggage and any equipment you need also affect which vehicle will suit your group.
What does a seven-, eight- or nine-seater van mean?
Descriptions such as “seven-seater car” or “nine-seater van” do not always specify whether the figure includes the driver. When booking a transfer, give the number of people who will be traveling as passengers, including children.
| Vehicle | Maximum passengers | Total seats, including the chauffeur |
|---|---|---|
| Mercedes V-Class | 7 | 8 |
| Mercedes Vito | 8 | 9 |
A nine-seat Vito therefore carries eight passengers and their chauffeur. For groups of more than eight passengers, ask about using several vehicles or a suitably sized minibus.
Why book a van with a chauffeur in Paris?
Sharing one vehicle means fewer meeting points and less coordination between cars. A van can suit a large family, friends traveling together or a business team. You can arrange:
- A transfer between an airport, station, hotel or home.
- A business trip with colleagues.
- A sightseeing tour in Paris or an excursion from the city.
- Transport for guests at a wedding or family celebration.
- A chauffeur for several appointments.
- A long-distance journey with stops agreed in advance.
The service includes a chauffeur who takes care of driving and parking during the booking.
Which Mercedes van should you choose?
Mercedes V-Class for up to seven passengers
The V-Class suits private and business trips where comfort is a priority, from meeting a client to a family transfer, a day trip or several hours of chauffeur service. It seats up to seven passengers in addition to the driver. Tell us about your luggage so we can check that it fits the seating layout.
Mercedes Vito for up to eight passengers
The Vito allows eight passengers to travel in one vehicle, with a separate seat for the chauffeur. If all eight seats will be occupied, give the number and size of suitcases, pushchairs or bulky items so we can check the space before confirming.
Luggage, child seats and accessibility
When you request a quote, include:
- The number of adults and children.
- The number of large suitcases and cabin bags.
- Any pushchairs, folding wheelchairs or bulky equipment.
- The age of each child who needs a child seat.
- Any assistance or particular boarding arrangements you need.
Confirm the equipment and layout when booking. If a passenger needs to remain in their wheelchair during the journey, ask specifically about a suitable vehicle. A standard van may not have the required equipment.
When comparing a van with an SUV, check how passengers will board and how much luggage fits with every seat occupied. If your group needs Wi-Fi or charging points, ask the operator to confirm them for the vehicle you will use.
Van transfers to and from Paris airports
First Class Partner offers pre-booked transfers to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly and Paris Beauvais. A van is particularly useful when several people arrive on the same flight or are traveling to the same address with their luggage.
Send the flight number, date, passenger count and a phone number for someone in the group. You will receive the meeting point and pickup arrangements with your confirmation.
If you are catching a flight, work back from your airline’s recommended arrival time. Allow for the drive and traffic at the time of day you plan to travel.
Transfers at Paris railway stations
Book a van to or from Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Gare Montparnasse, Gare Saint-Lazare, Gare de l’Est. Your group can continue together to a hotel, an office, a home address or another station.
Give the train number and arrival time. The meeting arrangements are agreed in advance for the station and service booked. For a connection between stations or from a station to an airport, allow time to leave the train, reach the vehicle, travel through traffic and find the platform or terminal.
Sightseeing tours and excursions from Paris
With a van booked for your group, you can agree on stops and breaks before setting off.
Exploring Paris
Your itinerary might include the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Champs-Élysées, Notre-Dame or Montmartre. Access and parking determine where the chauffeur can drop you off and meet you again. For streets best explored on foot, agree on a meeting point for the next part of the tour. See our guide to visiting Paris with a chauffeur.
Versailles
A day at Versailles can include the palace, gardens and Estate of Trianon. Plan around the tickets you hold, opening times and the time available.
Giverny
Plan your visit around the seasonal opening of Claude Monet’s house and gardens. Book admission separately unless your confirmed offer expressly includes it.
Reims and Champagne
Combine a visit to Reims with a tour of one or more Champagne houses. Arrange cellar visits and tasting appointments ahead of time.
Loire Valley châteaux
Possible stops include Chambord, Chenonceau and Amboise. When choosing how many to visit, allow for driving distances and each château’s opening hours.
Chauffeur service and guided visits are separate arrangements. Admission, tastings, meals and a tour guide are included only if specified in your confirmed offer.
Chauffeur hire for businesses and events
A van can take a team to a meeting, trade fair or conference, or meet visiting business partners. Depending on availability, you can book a few hours, half a day, a full day or several days. Common arrangements include:
- Transfers between an airport, hotel and meeting venue.
- Meeting clients or business partners on arrival.
- Travel between several company sites.
- Guest transport for an event.
- Itineraries with several drop-offs and pickups.
Agree on the duration, stops, waiting periods and overtime terms in the quote. For shuttle runs, plan around the total number of passengers and the times they need to arrive.
Choose one reachable contact for the group. If some guests will leave earlier or from another address, mention this when requesting the quote so the schedule and vehicles can be arranged accordingly.
Long-distance and multi-day travel
You can also book a van and chauffeur from Paris to another region or for an itinerary with several stops. Provide the addresses, preferred times, stops and length of stay. For multi-day bookings, the quote sets out the arrangements and applicable costs. These services include a chauffeur throughout.
