Where Is Orly 2?
Orly 2 is part of the connected Paris-Orly Airport complex, south of Paris. It shares the former Orly West side with Orly 1. The airport’s present numbering was introduced in 2019: the former West area became Orly 1 and 2, the connecting building became Orly 3 and the former South area became Orly 4.
Older directions mentioning “Orly West” may therefore refer to the area now divided between Orly 1 and 2. Use your flight’s current check-in and arrival information rather than an old terminal name.
Before Departure
- Check the operating airline, flight number and terminal.
- Follow the airline’s recommended arrival time and baggage drop deadline.
- Allow for the walk from your transport stop or parking facility to check-in.
- Keep identification, boarding passes and required travel documents accessible.
After Landing
Complete any required arrival formalities and collect your luggage before following the meeting instructions for your onward transfer. An airport name alone does not identify a meeting point: the terminal, arrival exit and vehicle access rules matter.
Airlines and Destinations: Check Your Actual Flight
Airline assignments can change, and codeshare bookings may display a different airline from the one operating the flight. Confirm your terminal with the operating carrier and the airport’s current flight information. Avoid relying on a permanent list of airlines or assuming that a particular terminal always handles one type of route.
For a chauffeur pick-up, send First Class Partner your flight number and scheduled arrival time. This helps coordinate the welcome with the actual arrival terminal and flight status. Recheck your departure gate after arriving at the airport.
How to Reach Orly Terminal 2
Metro Line 14
Metro line 14 serves Aéroport d’Orly station. From there, follow airport signs toward Orly 2 and allow enough time to reach your check-in area. Check current operating hours, planned works and the ticket or pass required for an airport journey.
If traveling on the RER C via Pont de Rungis, the nearby Thiais–Orly station provides a connection to line 14. Our Pont de Rungis–Orly guide explains this connection.
RER B and Orlyval
Take the RER B to Antony and change to Orlyval for the airport. Use the stop serving Orly 1-2-3, then follow the signs to Orly 2. The RER B does not run directly into the terminals. The Antony–airport section of Orlyval has separate ticket conditions; check Orlyval’s official website for current information.
Tram T7, Buses and Coaches
Tram T7 serves the airport near Orly 4. Include the onward connection to Orly 2 in your travel plans. Local buses and coach services vary by route and travel date; verify the precise stop, schedule and luggage conditions with the operator.
Orlybus ended on March 3, 2025. Older directions referring to a direct Denfert-Rochereau–Orlybus service should be replaced with a current itinerary.
Official Taxi
Follow signs to the official taxi stand. Taxis can also be reserved through a provider. Regulated airport flat fares apply to eligible direct journeys between Paris and Orly; other destinations follow the applicable tariff. Allow for traffic rather than treating a short road estimate as a guarantee.
Private Car Service
A private car service to Orly provides a reserved journey from your home, hotel, office or station. Confirm the route, pick-up time, passenger count and luggage requirements in advance. Your driver uses the appropriate authorized airport access and drop-off arrangements.
Driving and Parking
Select parking using the airport’s current map and booking information. Compare walking routes to Orly 2, vehicle height restrictions, duration and cancellation conditions. An old parking number is not enough to confirm the most convenient facility for your flight.
Services and Amenities at Orly 2
Check-in, Baggage Drop and Security
Desk opening times, self-service kiosks and baggage drop options depend on the airline. Online check-in does not remove baggage or document deadlines. Follow security instructions for cabin luggage, and add a margin during busy periods and school vacations.
Shopping and Dining
Cafés, restaurants and shops offer refreshments and last-minute purchases. Availability depends on your terminal zone, opening hours and whether you are before or after security. Ask directly about allergens or dietary requirements. Duty-free eligibility depends on your destination and applicable rules.
Wi-Fi, Charging and Flight Information
Airport Wi-Fi and flight displays help you stay connected and monitor your departure. Carry your own charging cable and suitable power bank rather than relying on a particular outlet. Continue to check airport displays even if your airline has sent a notification.
Accessibility and Passenger Assistance
Request airport assistance through your airline in advance, preferably at least 48 hours before travel. Describe mobility equipment and any support needed. A suitable accessible ground vehicle is a separate arrangement: discuss requirements when booking so availability and suitability can be confirmed.
Lounges and Additional Services
Check the location, opening hours and admission conditions of any lounge you plan to use. Access may depend on the airline, ticket, membership or a separate reservation. Confirm the actual provider and location for luggage storage, concierge assistance or other extras instead of assuming they are available inside Orly 2.

Hotels Near Orly Terminal 2
For an early flight or overnight stop, choose accommodation by its actual location and airport access. Confirm the property’s current name, address and transport arrangements directly rather than relying on an old hotel listing.
- Novotel Paris Cœur d’Orly Airport: an airport-area option connected with the Cœur d’Orly pedestrian routes. Check the onward route to Orly 2.
- ibis Paris Cœur d’Orly Airport: another option in the Cœur d’Orly area; include the terminal walk or connection in your timing.
- Hilton Garden Inn Paris Orly Airport: located outside the terminal complex. Confirm current airport transportation arrangements.
- Mercure Paris Orly Rungis: a choice for stays in the Rungis area, requiring onward transportation to the airport.
Do not assume a hotel shuttle is free, operates overnight or stops at every terminal. Check its schedule, reservation requirements, pick-up point and luggage capacity. A private hotel transfer can be arranged if available shuttle times do not match your flight.
Practical Travel Tips
- Start with the airline’s timing: add the ground journey, terminal walking and a disruption margin to the recommended airport arrival time.
- Prepare your documents: check identification and destination entry requirements before leaving.
- Review baggage rules: allowances depend on the operating airline and fare purchased.
- Recheck the terminal: allocations and gates can change.
- Plan connections carefully: separate tickets may require baggage collection and a new check-in.
- Stay reachable: keep the contact details and meeting instructions supplied for your transfer.
