Orly Terminal 3: A Practical Guide for Your Airport Journey
Flying into or out of Orly Terminal 3? Organize your ground transportation before travel so you can focus on your flight, your meeting or your stay in Paris. This guide covers terminal orientation, public transportation, private transfers, nearby hotels and practical departure and arrival advice.
First Class Partner provides a private chauffeur service for Orly 1, 2 and 3, with a vehicle selected for your party and a fare agreed before pick-up. We are available 24/7 by reservation.
Where Is Orly Terminal 3?
Orly 3 is the connecting terminal building at Paris-Orly Airport, south of Paris. It links the former Orly West side, now Orly 1 and 2, with the former Orly South side, now Orly 4. The present numbering was introduced during the airport’s reorganization in 2019.
Unlike descriptions that present it as a small, separate low-cost terminal, Orly 3 is part of the connected airport complex. Your actual route depends on your check-in zone, departure gate or arrival exit. Follow current airport signs and your airline’s instructions rather than an old terminal map.
Before Leaving for the Airport
- Confirm the operating airline, flight number and departure terminal.
- Check your airline’s recommended arrival time and baggage drop deadline.
- Allow time to reach the correct check-in area after arriving at the airport.
- Share your flight and passenger details when booking a private transfer.
After Landing at Orly 3
Follow signs for arrivals, complete any required border formalities and collect checked luggage. Then follow your confirmed chauffeur meeting instructions. A terminal number alone is not a precise meeting point: your arrival exit and the airport’s vehicle access rules also matter.
Airlines, Destinations and Flight Information
Airline allocations can change, and a flight sold under one airline’s name may be operated by another carrier. Verify your terminal with the operating airline and current airport flight information. Do not rely on a fixed list of airlines or assume that Orly 3 is reserved for a particular type of carrier.
Check the gate and flight status again after reaching the airport. For airport pick-ups, give First Class Partner the flight number so the arrival can be monitored and your meeting coordinated with the actual terminal.
How to Reach Orly Terminal 3
Metro Line 14: Direct Access to the Airport
Metro line 14 serves Aéroport d’Orly station and connects the airport with major interchange stations in Paris. Follow signs from the station to Orly 3 and allow for the walk to your check-in area. Before traveling, check operating hours, planned works and the ticket required for an airport journey.
RER B via Antony and Orlyval
Another rail option is the RER B to Antony, followed by Orlyval to the airport. Use the airport stop serving Orly 1-2-3 and follow the signed route to Orly 3. The RER B does not directly serve the airport terminals, and the Antony–airport Orlyval section has separate ticket conditions. Consult Orlyval’s official website for current information.
Tram T7, Local Buses and Coaches
Tram T7 serves the airport near Orly 4. Include the onward terminal connection when planning a journey to Orly 3. Local bus routes and intercity coach services depend on your departure point and travel date; check the precise airport stop and luggage conditions with the operator.
Orlybus ended on March 3, 2025. Older directions referring to the Denfert-Rochereau–Orlybus service should be replaced with a current route.
Official Airport Taxi
Follow signs to an official taxi stand. Regulated flat fares apply to eligible direct trips between Paris and Orly Airport, while other routes follow the applicable taxi tariff. Travel time depends on your address and traffic; allow a margin for rush hours and road incidents.
Prearranged Private Car Service
A private car service to Orly Airport offers a direct journey from your hotel, residence, office or train station. Confirm the pick-up time, passenger count and luggage before departure. The driver uses the appropriate airport access route and authorized drop-off or pick-up area.
Driving and Parking
Choose a parking facility using the airport’s current map and booking information. Compare terminal walking routes, vehicle height restrictions, cancellation terms and the duration of your stay. Do not choose solely by an old parking number: entrances and access arrangements can change.
Services and Facilities at Orly 3
Check-in, Baggage Drop and Security
Check-in desks, self-service kiosks and baggage drop options depend on your airline. Online check-in does not remove baggage or document deadlines. Keep your identification and boarding pass accessible, and follow security instructions for cabin luggage. Allow additional time during busy travel periods.
Restaurants, Cafés and Shopping
Food outlets, cafés and shops provide options for a meal, refreshments or last-minute purchases. Their availability depends on your terminal zone, opening hours and whether you have passed security. Ask directly about dietary requirements and allergens. Duty-free eligibility depends on your destination and applicable rules.
Wi-Fi, Charging and Passenger Information
Airport Wi-Fi, flight displays and information points help you stay informed. Carry your own charging cable and a suitable power bank rather than relying on an available outlet at a particular seat. Continue to check airport displays even if you have received an airline notification.
Assistance for Passengers with Reduced Mobility
Request assistance through your airline in advance, preferably at least 48 hours before departure. Describe your needs clearly, including any mobility equipment. An accessible ground vehicle is a separate arrangement: discuss it when booking your transfer so availability and suitability can be confirmed.
Lounges and Additional Services
Check current lounge locations, entry conditions and opening times for your departure area. Access may depend on your ticket, airline, membership or a separate booking. For luggage storage, concierge services or other extras, confirm the provider’s actual location and availability rather than assuming the service is offered inside Orly 3.

Hotels Near Orly Terminal 3
For an early departure, late arrival or business stay, choose accommodation according to its actual airport access. Confirm the current hotel name, address and transport arrangements directly with the property.
- Novotel Paris Cœur d’Orly Airport: an airport-area option connected with the Cœur d’Orly pedestrian routes. Check the walking route to Orly 3 for your departure time.
- ibis Paris Cœur d’Orly Airport: another option in the Cœur d’Orly area, with an onward walk or terminal connection depending on your itinerary.
- Hilton Garden Inn Paris Orly Airport: located outside the terminal complex. Verify its current airport transportation arrangements.
- Mercure Paris Orly Rungis: an option for stays in the Rungis area, requiring onward transportation to the airport.
A hotel shuttle should not be assumed to operate 24 hours a day, be free or stop at every terminal. Check its schedule, pick-up location, booking rules and luggage capacity. First Class Partner can arrange a private hotel transfer if the available shuttle does not suit your flight.
Practical Advice for Departures and Connections
- Build in a time margin. Follow airline guidance and account for traffic, terminal walking and check-in queues.
- Prepare travel documents. Check identification, destination entry requirements and any required documents before leaving home.
- Review baggage rules. Cabin and checked baggage limits depend on the operating airline and fare purchased.
- Confirm terminal changes. Recheck your flight on the day of travel, especially for codeshare bookings.
- Plan separate-ticket connections carefully. You may need to collect bags, leave the secure area and check in again.
- Keep your phone reachable. Use the contact details supplied for your chauffeur meeting and tell us if your plans change.
Why Choose a Private Chauffeur for Orly 3?
A Direct Transfer with an Agreed Fare
Travel from your address to the airport in a reserved vehicle, without changing trains with suitcases. The fare is communicated and agreed before pick-up. If you need extra stops or a revised itinerary, request them in advance so availability and any fare adjustment can be confirmed.
Meet & Greet and Luggage Assistance
For arrivals, an arranged Meet & Greet can include a name sign and assistance reaching your vehicle, according to the confirmed meeting instructions and airport access rules. Flight tracking helps coordinate the pick-up; it does not replace the need to provide an accurate flight number and reachable contact.
Vehicles for Business Travelers, Families and Groups
Choose a premium sedan, SUV or spacious van according to passenger numbers, luggage and availability. Tell us about child seats, strollers and oversized items before booking. Onboard amenities depend on the vehicle selected.
For meetings, several addresses or a schedule requiring a vehicle to remain available, ask about our Dedicated Chauffeur Service. It can be arranged for business or personal travel according to your itinerary.
