CDG Airport Bus Station: A Guide to Roissypôle and Paris Transfers

Travelers walking through an airport terminal corridor

Traveling to or from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport involves more than choosing a flight. Knowing where to catch your bus, how to reach your terminal and which ticket to buy can make your journey much easier.

Roissypôle bus station is a major public transportation hub at CDG, with connections to Paris, surrounding communities and the airport’s rail and terminal transfer services. This guide explains how to use it and when a prebooked private chauffeur service may better suit your itinerary.

Transport update: The former RoissyBus service between Paris Opéra and CDG ended on March 1, 2026. Travelers should use current route information rather than older airport guides.

Where Is Roissypôle Bus Station?

Roissypôle bus station is next to the RER B station named Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 and the Terminal 3–Roissypôle CDGVAL stop.

Despite its name, the RER station is not inside Terminal 1. Terminal 3 is reached on foot from Roissypôle, while Terminal 1 and the Terminal 2 transport hub are connected by CDGVAL.

At Terminal 2, allow additional time to reach your departure hall. The CDGVAL stop does not serve every Terminal 2 hall individually, and some journeys require an additional walk or airport shuttle.

Follow airport signs for “Bus,” “Gare routière,” “Roissypôle” and your specific terminal.

Bus Connections Between Paris and CDG

Express Line 9517 via Saint-Denis Pleyel

Express line 9517 connects Argenteuil and Roissypôle via Saint-Denis Pleyel. This provides another route to the airport, including a connection with metro line 14 at Saint-Denis Pleyel.

Unlike the former RoissyBus, this route does not depart from Paris Opéra. Plan both the journey to the interchange and the onward airport connection. Check the latest timetable for your travel date, as traffic and service changes can affect your arrival.

Bus Routes 350 and 351

Route 350 links Paris Porte de la Chapelle with CDG. Route 351 links Paris Nation with CDG.

These routes can suit travelers whose accommodation is close to their departure points. They make local stops and can be affected by road traffic, so consider the entire journey when comparing them with the RER B or a private transfer.

Routes 350 and 351 have been operated by Transdev Express Roissy since March 1, 2026. Older references to a route 350 departure from Gare de l’Est should not be used to plan your trip.

Night Buses: Noctilien N140 and N143

Noctilien routes N140 and N143 connect Paris Gare de l’Est with Charles de Gaulle Airport overnight.

Check the route-specific timetable, stop and direction before traveling. Allow time for the onward journey from your arrival stop to the airline’s check-in area. An overnight bus connection does not mean every airport shuttle operates continuously.

Intercity Coaches

If you are arriving by an intercity coach, use the exact stop shown on your ticket. A stop described as “Paris Airport” or “Charles de Gaulle” should not automatically be assumed to be at Roissypôle.

Services, destinations and airport pickup points vary by operator and travel date. Verify baggage allowances, boarding requirements and the connection to your terminal before booking.

Tickets, Fares and Travel Time

Bus and airport rail journeys use different ticket rules. Check the ticket required for each part of your itinerary, especially when combining a metro journey with an airport bus.

For routes 9517, 350 and 351, consult the current Bus-Tram ticket information. For an RER B airport journey, consult the Paris Region Airports ticket information or check whether your travel pass covers the journey.

Avoid relying on older advice about using several paper t+ tickets. Purchase and validate the correct current ticket before traveling.

Bus journey times depend on traffic, the route and your starting point. Include walking, waiting and terminal transfer time in your planning, rather than treating the bus ride as your complete airport journey.

Practical Tips for a Smooth Journey

  • Confirm your airline’s terminal and departure hall before choosing your airport stop.
  • Check live service information and planned engineering work.
  • Allow time for baggage collection, walking and onward terminal connections.
  • Follow your airline’s recommended airport arrival time.
  • Keep your ticket, booking confirmation and travel documents accessible.
  • Check luggage policies before booking an intercity coach.
  • Confirm accessibility arrangements with the operator if you need assistance.
  • For a late arrival or early flight, compare overnight public transportation with a prebooked private car service.

Exploring Paris and the Surrounding Region

An airport connection can also be part of a wider visit to Paris and Île-de-France. If you are planning sightseeing, a visit to Chantilly or a trip to Parc Astérix, check opening dates, transport arrangements and the time available before your next flight.

Do not assume there is a direct bus from Roissypôle to every attraction. Some destinations require connections or a separately booked transfer.
